What exactly are lab-grown diamonds?

Although chemically, optically, and physically equal to earth mined diamonds, lab grown diamonds (also known as lab manufactured, man made, engineered, synthetic, or cultured diamonds) are more ethical, lovely, and reasonably priced than any diamond one can ever obtain from the earth. By crystallising carbon in a contemporary lab setting to create beautiful diamonds that are priced up to 40% cheaper and devoid of any environmental or humanitarian problems, we are re-creating the earth’s natural process.

How are lab grown diamonds made?

One of two methods—High-Pressure, High-Temperature (HPHT) or Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD)—is used to create grown diamonds. The majority of the diamonds produced by Pravajya Exports are developed using CVD, which has shown to be the most effective process for generating diamonds of superior quality.

Are lab created diamonds real?

Yes! It is a truth that lab-created diamonds are actual diamonds, and they are exactly like mined diamonds in every way (except for price!). Lab-grown diamonds are 100% pure crystallised carbon, not to be confused with cubic zirconia, moissanite, or a “look-a-like” diamond. Imagine the difference between receiving ice from a glacier versus creating it in your modern freezer; both are simply frozen water, regardless of where they came from. We are using carbon to form magnificent raw diamonds that are graded, cut, and polished just like diamonds that are extracted from the soil. Diamonds made in a lab have the same optical, physical, and chemical characteristics. Leading independent gemological institutes like IGI, GIA, and GCAL grade them to the same criteria as mined diamonds and they share the same refractive index, dispersion, and hardness.
